23 If you forgive the sins of any, they have been forgiven for them. If you retain[a] the sins of any, they have been retained”.

24 Now Thomas, one of the twelve, the one being called Didymus[b], was not with them when Jesus came. 25 So the other disciples were saying to him, “We have seen the Lord!” But the one said to them, “Unless I see the mark[c] of the nails in His hands, and put my finger into the mark of the nails, and put my hand into His side, I will by no means believe”.
